My Deliverer

(This is just a GOOD piece of work, with a natural rythm and
beat)(Notice that chorus 1 and chorus 2&3 are differently chorded. Pick
your favorite sound and go with it, or make up your own version... :)
Also the last tag is also slightly different. This is an exciting song
and there is a lot of good sound in it, this is just the way i hear
it... Not that i'm right, just that this is such a good song you can
take a lot of license and make your own sound for it... Sing unto the
Lord a new song, eh?)

Verse 1
Am F Am F
Joseph took his wife and her son, and they went to Africa,
              Am E Am
to escape the rage of a deadly king...
                                        F Am
F
There along the banks of the Nile Jesus heard the words of this song...
                 Am E
that the captive children used to sing...

(They were singin'...)

Chorus 1

Am C Am F C Am E
My De-live-er-er is coming, my Deliverer is standing by...
F C F
He will never break His promise, He has written it across the sky!
Am F Am F C E Am
My Deliverer is coming, my Deliverer is standing by...

Verse 2
Am F Am F
Through a dry and dusty land, water from the Kenyan heights,
                         Am E Am
pours itself out of Lake Sangra's broken heart...
                                 F Am F
There in the Sahara winds, Jesus heard the whole world cry...
                           Am E
for the healing that would come from His own scars...

(The world was singing...)

F Am C F C

my mind!
